Cruciferous Christmas Cooking Class

If you missed my Cruciferous Cooking Class last week at Pilgrim's Market you passed up some amazing dishes!  We made a Sweet & Tangy Brussels Sprouts slaw (pictured here), a massaged kale salad and Coconut-Lime Cauliflower "Rice".  Even for the skeptical (we had 1 person who claimed not to like Brussels Sprouts and another who doesn't 'do' kale) - we managed for them to say "YUM"!  It's all about trying something new!  How are we to know if we really hate Brussels Sprouts if we only ever remember them as over-cooked mini-cabbage mush?  Or kale?  If I had a dollar for every person that has told me they don't like kale before eating a massaged kale salad....

Participants also took home recipes for a cauliflower pizza crust, collard greens wraps, arugula salads and home-made sauerkraut!  If you'd like a copy, stop by the clinic and say 'hi', email me or attend my next class January 15th, "Kitchen Overhaul: Strategies to Better Health in 2015"
